BI Developer - £60,000 + Benefits
Location: Reading (Hybrid, in office once per week)

We are supporting a large, well-established UK organisation in hiring an experienced BI Developer to join their collaborative and long-standing data team. This is a traditional on-prem BI Developer / SQL Data Engineer role, focused on database development, ETL, data modelling, and data warehouse work.
If you enjoy hands-on SQL development, building robust ETL solutions, and working in a supportive environment where the team shares knowledge but operates autonomously - this opportunity will suit you well.
You’ll join a stable team, covering BI development, reporting, SQL administration, and data management. The environment is friendly, down-to-earth, and collaborative -everyone helps each other when needed but also takes real ownership of their own work.


The Role
As a BI Developer, you will work across the full data lifecycle, including:
*Developing and optimising SQL databases
*Creating and maintaining SSIS packages
*Designing and delivering ETL processes
*Performing data modelling and dimensional modelling
*Supporting and enhancing the on-prem data warehouse
*Handling ad-hoc support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning


Required Experience
*Expert SQL / T-SQL
*Strong SSIS experience
