Job Description:
HR Project Consultant (Fixed Term Contract)
Westbury, Wiltshire
£40,000 per annum + benefits
3-4 months fixed term contract
We’re working with a well-established manufacturing business to support a key HR project and are looking for an experienced HR Project Consultant to join them on a short-term basis.
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role where you’ll take ownership of reviewing, updating, and implementing core HR documentation and processes. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the business is compliant, consistent, and set up for future growth.
Key Responsibilities:
*Review and update the employee handbook
*Audit and revise HR policies and procedures
*Support rollout of updated employment contracts
*Refresh job descriptions across the business
*Ensure compliance with current UK employment legislation
*Provide guidance on employment rights and HR best practice
*Work closely with stakeholders to implement changes
*Identify gaps and recommend process improvements
About You:
*Proven generalist HR experience (Advisor level or above)
*Strong knowledge of UK employment law
*Experience delivering HR projects or policy/contract reviews
*Able to work independently and drive outcomes
*Confident engaging with stakeholders
*CIPD qualified (or equivalent) desirable
