Music Teacher / Cannock / Easter Start / Fixed-Term Contract
Are you a passionate and qualified Music Teacher looking for a new teaching opportunity?
Academics are currently recruiting on behalf of an Ofsted-rated ’Good’ secondary school in the Cannock area, seeking to appoint a talented Music Teacher to join their department. This is a fixed-term role starting from the Easter term through to the end of the summer term.
The position is part-time; however, the school can offer full-time hours for candidates happy to take on general cover for the remaining two days.
About the Role:*Deliver engaging and high-quality Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
*Inspire students and develop their confidence in performance and theory
*Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
*Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities where appropriate
Ideal Applicant:*Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Music or a related subject
*Has a passion for music education and student development
*Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills
*Has the ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities
