Resourcery Group are supporting a well-established not-for-profit organisation in Warrington to recruit a Management Accountant. The Role
Reporting to the Finance Director, the Management Accountant will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial reporting and insight across multiple services. You’ll work closely with operational managers, helping them understand performance, manage budgets and make informed decisions.
Key responsibilities as a Management Accountant include:
*Preparation of monthly management accounts with clear variance analysis and commentary
*Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, including reforecasting
*Partnering with service managers to monitor financial performance and cost control
*Analysing payroll, staffing costs and operational spend
*Reconciling income streams and ensuring billing accuracy
*Supporting audit processes and maintaining strong financial controls
*Identifying opportunities to improve processes and reporting
About You
*Part-qualified or qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent)
*Previous management accounting experience within care, charity or public sector
*Strong Excel and analytical skills
*Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships with non-finance stakeholders
*Proactive, organised and able to work as part of a wider team

This role will involve occasional travel across Warrington sites, so a driving licence is required.
