*Prepare and manage group financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
*Oversee the consolidation process for group accounts in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
*Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
*Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
*Collaborate with regional finance teams to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy.
*Assist with audits by preparing necessary documentation and addressing queries.
*Monitor and manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
*Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in financial reporting.
Profile
A successful Group Accountant should have:
*A relevant accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
*Experience in financial reporting and consolidation within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
*Strong knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.
*Proficiency in using financial reporting software and advanced Excel skills.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
