Your work will directly shape the accuracy, integrity, and insight behind financial reporting for a portfolio of legal entities across the region.This isn’t just month-end. You’ll be the go-to specialist responsible for the full spectrum of legal entity accounting. From closing activities to statutory support, from fixed assets to inventory, from payroll accounting to indirect tax-you’ll have your hands on the numbers that drive decisions, compliance, and performance.You’ll work in a collaborative, international environment where precision, curiosity, and continuous improvement are genuinely valued.What you’ll be doingFinancial & Statutory Reporting
*Prepare P&L and balance sheet reporting, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery
*Support statutory requirements through parallel GAAP accounting
*Consolidate and submit Intrastat data for cross-border movements
Month-End & General Ledger
*Run pre-close checks, identify issues, and post corrections
*Prepare and post accruals and journal entries
*Support sales cut-off and other key closing activities
Cash, Treasury & Hedging
*Provide core inputs for monthly cash forecasting
*Liaise with Treasury on hedge requests and valuations
*Reconcile GL positions and process hedge-related journals
Payroll & Tax Accounting
*Own payroll accounting entries
*Prepare journals and data for tax specialists
*Manage VAT and indirect tax postings and payments
Fixed Assets & Inventory
*Maintain and update fixed asset master data
*Process depreciation, valuations, and adjustments across GAAPs
*Support physical asset counts and inventory reconciliations
*Run inventory accounting and year-end opening/closing
Intercompany & Audit Support
*Manage intercompany recharges and reconciliations
*Support internal and external audits, including energy declarations

What you’ll need to succeed
*2+ years of accounting experience, ideally with broad exposure
*Strong understanding of accounting techniques (payroll, VAT, taxes, Intrastat)
*Knowledge of US GAAP or local GAAP
*Confident working with large ERP systems
*Analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complexity
*Strong communication skills and the confidence to challenge constructively
*Organised, resilient, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines
*Fluent English; additional languages are a plus
