Junior Content Writer (Automotive)

The Junior Content Writer creates high-quality written content for our website and wider marketing communications. This role focuses on producing SEO-optimised copy, including detailed guides, blog articles, FAQs and vehicle product information. This is an office-based role due to the collaborative working environment, based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. Synergy is rated by our team as an "outstanding" place to work, achieving a 2-Star rating in the Best Companies survey for two consecutive years.

You will produce a mix of long-form and short-form written content designed to improve search visibility and support customers throughout their leasing journey. This includes writing about industry news, new car launches and helpful guides for business and personal customers. The role involves researching these topics, writing clear and accurate copy, and ensuring all content aligns with our brand tone of voice.

Working in a fast-paced industry, the Junior Content Writer also supports the wider SEO and marketing strategy as required.

Junior Content Writer Responsibilities:
*Write new and engaging content, working closely with the marketing team and external agencies.
*Research topics thoroughly and ensure a high level of accuracy in all published information.
*Review and update existing content to ensure it remains accurate and up to date.
*Identify opportunities for new content development.
*Support the wider SEO strategy as required, both independently and collaboratively.
*Provide written content for other marketing communications when required, including social media posts and email marketing campaigns.
*Work in line with Consumer Duty requirements.

Junior Content Writer Requirements:
*Minimum 1+ years’ experience in a writing, marketing or communications role.
*Strong writing ability to produce engaging content in a variety of styles.
*Excellent attention to detail and accuracy of information.
*Strong communication skills and a creative approach.
*Ability to manage workload effectively and support multiple projects when required.
*An interest in cars, vehicles or the automotive sector would be an advantage, but not essential
*A degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, PR, Journalism, English or a similar language/arts-based subject is preferred.
*Relevant work experience demonstrating writing or content skills is an advantage (for example digital marketing, journalism, PR, agency work or in-house marketing).
