We’re looking for a high-impact Head of Automation to lead a Motors & Automation function, delivering world-class technical solutions across the Entertainment sector. You’ll take full ownership of a critical department, driving performance, safety, innovation, and sustainability. Leading a skilled team of technicians and engineers, you’ll ensure the highest standards in equipment delivery and technical services for major events.

Duties:*Drive efficient planning and resource management across all projects
*Champion high-quality standards in equipment and technical service delivery
*Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing technical team
*Embed a safety-first culture, with strong oversight of LOLER and H&S compliance
*Develop and implement risk assessments and safety protocols
*Manage budgets and inventory


Skills:*Proven experience in a leadership/ management
*Strong technical knowledge of motors, automation systems and rigging
*Deep understanding of health & safety legislation (LOLER essential)
*A natural leader with the ability to motivate and develop diverse teams
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*A continuous improvement mindset with a drive to innovate
*Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills
*Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
*Project management or lean process experience (desirable)
*Microsoft 365 proficiency
