Key Stage 4 English & Maths Teachers
Independent Special School (Ages 6–16, SEMH)
Interim and Permanent Opportunities Available
We are a nurturing and forward-thinking independent special school in the Western Pennines, supporting pupils aged 6–16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
At the heart of our provision is a strong commitment to individualised education. Every young person follows a bespoke curriculum, tailored to their strengths, interests, and learning needs—helping them to re-engage with education and achieve success.
The Role
We are seeking qualified and experienced English and Maths teachers to deliver engaging learning at Key Stages 3 and 4.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to a wider curriculum across key stages, depending on your experience and interests.
Opportunities Available
*Interim / Contract roles (with flexible, competitive day rates)
*Permanent positions (salary negotiable based on experience)
About You
We are particularly interested in individuals who:
*Build strong, positive relationships with students
*Are resilient, proactive, and committed to student progress
*Have experience in SEN and/or alternative provision settings(desirable but not essential)
*Can deliver adaptable, personalised learning
