Job Description:
We are working with a Northallerton-based business who are looking to appoint an Accounts Generalist on a part-time basis to join them on a 12-month contract. This would be circa. 20 hours per week.
You will ideally have a variety of experience across accounts and be confident in your ability to supervise and support the wider finance team.
Responsibilities include:
*Produce routine reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
*Support reporting and information for key stakeholders
*Credit control, including chasing and collecting monies due from customers
*Other ad-hoc work as required to support the Finance function.
*New customer set up and review of credit terms
*Producing Customer invoices and credit notes
*Be a point of contact for any finance queries
You will have:
*Experience in a similar role
*Accuracy and meticulous attention to detail
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
*AAT or Accounting degree qualification – preferred
*Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other computer systems and databases
*Ability to use initiative to organise themselves and others to ensure deadlines are met
*A flexible team player with the ability to work proactively
