ER Advisor (Interim - Job Evaluation Appeals)
*Pay Rate: PAYE £24.69 per hour / Umbrella £32.26 per hour
*Location: EC2V, London
*Job Type: Interim
*Start Date: ASAP
*End Date: 01/07/2026
*Working Days: 3 days a week on-site ideally
Join our team in a local authority in central London as an ER Advisor focusing on job evaluation appeals. This role is crucial in supporting the ER Project Lead with the right to review (appeal) process within a large, multi-disciplined organisation. We have 5 positions available
Day-to-day of the role:
*Review appeals received to determine if they meet the appeal criteria.
*Organise and coordinate meetings for appeals to be heard.
*Coordinate all documentation relating to the appeal and support the panel.
*Communicate the outcome of appeals to employees.
*Serve as the first point of contact for advice on the right to review process.
*Maintain a case log of all appeals to facilitate case tracking and management.
*Support HR colleagues in understanding the Hay job evaluation process.
*May also support other ER casework related to the project as required, such as grievances.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience dealing with staff at all levels up to and including senior managers.
*Familiarity with the Hay job evaluation process is ideal.
*Experience in developing good working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally.
*Experience working with Trade Unions.
*A successful track record in providing HR generalist work in a large, multi-disciplined organisation.
*Strong written and oral communication skills.
*Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and use initiative.
*Professional, persuasive, and influential; able to command the confidence of senior managers, employees, trade unions, external partners, and other stakeholders.
*Strong negotiating, influencing, and interpersonal communication skills.
*Resilient under pressure and steadfast in maintaining convictions when merited.
*A challenging, dynamic, and creative team player who is collaborative in their approach.
