Registered Manager
Role overview
Location: Wolverhampton
Contract: Full time, permanent
Salary: £47,000 with Benefits
Key responsibilities
*Working in a home which supports children with learning disabilities, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Global Delay, and many other special needs.
*Lead and manage the home and its staff team to provide exceptional care and support for children with mental health needs.
*Ensure that the home complies with all relevant regulations and standards, including Ofsted requirements and Children Home Regulations.
*Recruit, train, and develop a dedicated staff team to provide the best possible care for children.
*Oversee the assessment, planning, and delivery of care and support plans for each child, tailored to their individual needs.
*Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the home, including safeguarding practices.
*Manage the budget for the home effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
*Implement quality assurance processes to continuously improve the service provided to children and meet or exceed ResiCare Alliance’s high standards.
Qualifications and Experience
*Minimum Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent.
*Proven experience as a Manager/Deputy in a similar setting.
*Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards in residential childcare.
*Strong leadership and management skills.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
*Passion for working with children and young people.
*Commitment to promoting a safe and nurturing environment.
