Royal Mail Delivery Driver

Working Hours: 7am – 4pm, Monday to Friday
Pay rate: £15.39 per hour

Job Description

Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of Royal Mail for drivers. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s most trusted organisations, playing a vital role in ensuring mail and parcels are delivered safely and efficiently across the local region from one delivery depo office to another.

Your Role
*Drive a 3.5t vehicle, ensuring timely and secure deliveries of high-value and sensitive items
*Follow scheduled routes of sometimes long-distance driving and respond to any delivery changes quickly and professionally
*Load and unload consignments with care and attention
*Provide exceptional customer service on every route
*Complete all necessary documentation and maintain accurate records

Requirements
*Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
*Proven experience in multi-drop or secure delivery work preferred
*Ability to pass enhanced security vetting, including DBS checks and a credit check
*A positive, can-do attitude and a strong sense of responsibility
