Senior Geotechnical Engineer - Birmingham
We are working with a small to medium-sized multidisciplinary consultancy in Birmingham that is looking to appoint a Senior Geotechnical Engineer. The company operates across civil, structural, geotechnical and planning disciplines, delivering work on a range of commercial and residential developments.
This role would suit a Senior Geotechnical Engineer who is comfortable managing their own projects and contributing to a collaborative team.
The role
*Managing and overseeing ground investigations
*Producing factual and interpretative geotechnical reports
*Carrying out foundation design, retaining wall design and slope stability assessments
*Working alongside civil and structural engineers on shared projects
*Liaising with clients, contractors and other stakeholders
*Supporting junior members of the team
Requirements
*Experience in a Senior Geotechnical Engineer position or similar
*Good understanding of UK ground conditions and investigation techniques
*Experience in geotechnical design and report writing
*Able to manage workload and communicate effectively
*Relevant degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology or Civil Engineering
