SEN Teaching Assistant - RichmondFull-time | Long-term | ASAP / September start
I’m currently working with a really supportive SEN school in Richmond who are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.
The school supports students with a range of needs including ASD, SEMH and additional learning needs, so they’re looking for someone who is confident supporting behaviour, building relationships and working closely with students on a 1:1 or small group basis.
The role will involve:*Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups
*Assisting the teacher with lesson delivery
*Helping manage behaviour in a calm and consistent way
*Supporting students with EHCPs
*Creating a positive and engaging learning environment
They’re looking for someone who:*Has experience working with SEN (ASD, SEMH, ADHD etc.)
*Is confident supporting behaviour and de-escalation
*Is patient, resilient and proactive
*Can build strong relationships with students and staff
*Must have a Child and Adult DBS on the Update Service
