Job Description:
Customer Service Executive
People Solutions are looking for a Customer Service Executive for our client who is based in Rotherham.
Hours of work:
*Monday – Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm
Salary:
*£28,580 per annum

Day to Day Duties:
Your duties as a Customer Service Executive are:
• Processing customer orders and requests accurately and efficiently
• Using CRM systems to record all customer interactions
• Supporting Account Managers and managing correspondence in their absence
• Chasing and recording forecast information across departments
• Managing order entry, stock queries, deliveries and invoicing
• Maintaining customer pricing and preparing quotations
• Coordinating export shipments, including booking freight and liaising with forwarders
• Preparing and checking export documentation to ensure compliance
• Monitoring freight costs and maintaining accurate records
• Ensuring all export and legal documentation requirements are met
• Supporting customer visits and attending internal review meetings
Essential Skills:
The skills required to be a Customer Service Executive are:
• Minimum of five years’ experience in a similar commercial/customer service role
• Strong experience with export documentation (essential)
• Experience working in a fast-paced sales environment
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel to intermediate level)
• Commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
Desirable Experience
• Experience using Export Master
• Previous experience within export or international trade environments
• Understanding of Incoterms, tariffs and global trade processes
Training:
Industry related training and support provided and ongoing support throughout
