Job Description:
Our client, a highly respected, Chartered, and independently owned wealth planning firm based near Medway, Kent, who are looking to recruit an experienced IFA Administrator to join their growing support function.
This is a well-established business advising a broad range of HNW individuals, retirees, accumulators, families and SME owners across Kent, Sussex, and London. They provide holistic advice across pensions, investments, tax planning, retirement planning, cashflow modelling and protection, alongside more specialist areas such as VCTs and EIS.
A key differentiator here is culture — the firm is very much focused on long-term client outcomes rather than sales targets, with advisers not being individually target-driven. They also benefit from strong, long-standing referral relationships with professional connections including accountants and solicitors.
The support structure is highly collaborative, with an experienced pooled team of administrators and paraplanners. It’s a genuinely team-focused environment where people are supported, developed, and encouraged to progress, with ongoing CPD and full study support provided.
The Role
This is an IFA Administrator role within a busy and well-structured support team. You’ll be working closely with advisers, paraplanners and fellow administrators to ensure a smooth end-to-end advice process and an excellent client experience.
You’ll need to be confident operating within an independent financial planning environment, with a strong understanding of full administration processes from onboarding through to implementation. Experience using Intelligent Office would be highly advantageous (though not essential) along with exposure to platforms such as Aviva, Fidelity, Transact and Novia.
Key Responsibilities
*Supporting advisers and paraplanners with full end-to-end administration of client cases
*• Processing new business, withdrawals and amendments across pensions and investments
*• Preparing client documentation and ensuring accurate system updates
*• Liaising with providers to progress cases efficiently and resolve queries
*• Supporting suitability report preparation and client review processes
*• Maintaining high standards of accuracy, compliance, and client service
About You
*3+ years’ experience in an IFA Administrator role (independent background preferred)
*• Strong understanding of financial planning processes
*• Confident working within a team-based, collaborative environment
*• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
*• Intelligent Office experience (though not essential)
What’s on Offer
*Salary to £45,000 depending on experience
*• Bonus scheme
*• Pension
*• Excellent benefits package
*• 25 days holiday + bank holidays
*• Office-based role within a supportive, professional environment
This is a rare and excellent opportunity. Therefore, if you’re an experienced IFA Administrator looking for a stable, well-supported environment where you can develop long-term, please send your CV to Harry at Financial Divisions
