Location: London (2-3 days per week in the office)
Day Rate: £500-£550 per day (Outside IR35)
Duration: 6 months (initial)
A high-growth, well-funded business progressing toward a public listing is seeking a Senior SOX Analyst with a financial and IT controls focus.
This role sits in the second line of defence and will support the build-out of a SOX-compliant control framework from the ground up, in an environment where processes are still being defined.
Key Responsibilities*Design and implement SOX controls across financial and IT processes

*Build and document control frameworks aligned to evolving business processes

*Work with finance and technology teams to ensure controls are practical and scalable

*Support the development of IT general controls (ITGCs) and financial reporting controls

*Partner with stakeholders to embed a consistent control environment

*Support SOX readiness activity ahead of a potential listing

Requirements*Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)

*Experience working within a SOX framework (second line of defence)

*Strong understanding of financial controls and IT SOX (including ITGCs)

*Experience designing and implementing controls in a changing environment

*Comfortable working in a hands-on capacity

*Able to work in London a couple of times per week
