Job Title: Kitchen Assistant - Immediate Start - Goya Spanish Tapas Bar
Location: Goya Restaurant, Pimlico, London
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
About Us:
Goya is a family-run Spanish tapas bar and restaurant based in Pimlico, London. Established in 1993, we’ve been on the same premises since the start. The restaurant was originally started by a Galician who loved life and Spanish tapas, and today continues as a family tradition, run by his son and grandsons.
We pride ourselves onfreshly cooked classic tapas using the very best Spanish ingredients and traditional recipes. Our goal is to bring the warmth, flavour, and culture of Spain to every guest.
Role Overview:
We’re looking for a Kitchen Assistant to support our busy kitchen team. This is a hands-on role in a lively environment where you’ll help ensure our dishes are prepared and served to the highest standard.
What You’ll Be Doing:
*Assisting chefs with food preparation and basic cooking tasks
*Keeping kitchen stations and equipment clean and organised
*Helping with plating and presentation during service
*Following food safety and hygiene procedures
*Supporting the team to deliver excellent dishes under pressure
What We’re Looking For:
*Previous kitchen experience required
*Spanish or Portuguese language skills preferred, but not essential
*Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
*Positive attitude, reliability, and flexibility
