Job Description:
Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Primary SchoolsCroydon, South London | Immediate & Ongoing Opportunities
Tradewind Education is currently recruiting experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to support a range of welcoming primary schools across Croydon.
We are working closely with a number of well-established schools looking for reliable HLTAs who can step in to support learning across the classroom and occasionally lead lessons when required.
About the RoleAs an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning, working closely with class teachers and senior leaders to ensure pupils receive high-quality support.
Your responsibilities may include:
*Delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
*Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
*Running small group interventions
*Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom management
*Supporting pupils with additional needs where required
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident TA or existing HLTA looking to take on more responsibility in a supportive school environment.
