Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivatedAssociate with expertise in Clinical Negligence to join its Healthcare Team to represent Defendants, primarily acting for Private Insurers. You will manage a diverse portfolio of clinical negligence cases, providing high-quality legal advice and representation to our clients.
The Role
*Manage a diverse caseload of high-value defendant clinical negligence claims from inception to resolution
*Provide expert legal advice to insurer clients
*Draft, review and negotiate key legal documents including pleadings, witness statements and correspondence
*Conduct detailed legal research and analysis to support case strategy
*Liaise with clients, medical professionals and expert witnesses
*Attend court hearings, mediations and settlement negotiations
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files
*Collaborate with colleagues across the Healthcare Team
*Identify and support business development opportunities
*Deliver excellent client care at all times

About You
*Qualified solicitor with 3+ years PQE in Clinical Negligence
*Essential: Experience handling complex defendant clinical negligence cases for insurer clients
*Strong drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills
*Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Proficient in legal research tools and case management systems
*Professional, organised and detail-oriented approach
