Job Description:
Our client is hiring for a Temporary Retail Area Manager to join their team in East Sussex. This role is for 3 months.
Main Duties
*Setting sales, turnover or profit targets.
*Motivating staff to meet their targets and helping them to achieve their goals.
*Hiring new staff and overseeing promotions within their area.
*Providing training opportunities and development programmes for their staff.
*Mediating disputes between employees.
*Identifying areas for development and improvement within their area.
*Implementing action plans that lead to change or improvement.
*Ensuring quality consistency across the region.
*Communicating with clients on a regular basis.
*Ensuring quality control of products and customer service across East Sussex.
*Schedule and organise regular store visits.
Education and Experience
*Must have a proven track record as a Retail Area Manager.
*Preferably worked in the charity sector. (Not essential).
*Experience of managing people.
*Ability to delegate, coach and listen.
*Ability to manage time under conflicting priorities.
*Ability to motivate self and others.
*An open and adaptable approach to change and be able to support others through it.
*Experience of communicating with a diverse workforce and customer base.
*Ability to establish and maintain successful retail processes and merchandising.
*IT literacy and numeracy skills.
