Job Description:
Job Opportunity: 1:1 Tutor - Barnoldswick AreaWe are looking for a committed and patient 1:1 Tutor to support a Year 11 learner with SEND needs in the Barnoldswick area.
Location: Barnoldswick Library
Hours: 2-6 hours per week (flexible)
Pay Rate: £30-£35 per hour
Start: As soon as available
About the RoleYou will work on a one-to-one basis with a Year 11 learner who requires additional support with their studies. Sessions will take place in the local library, offering a quiet and structured learning environment. Your role will be to help build confidence, reinforce understanding, and support progress towards GCSE outcomes.
What We’re Looking For*Experience working with SEND learners (essential)
*A supportive, calm, and personalised approach
*Strong communication and planning skills
*Ability to engage and motivate young people
*Reliable and punctual
Requirements*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
*Experience in tutoring or teaching KS4
*Ability to commit to weekly sessions
