Nurture Teacher - SEND Secondary School
Location: Redhill / Chaldon, Surrey
Salary: £34,398 - £48,913 + £5,000 welcome bonus (for qualified teachers)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week
A specialist SEND secondary school in Surrey is seeking a Nurture Teacher to support pupils aged 11-16 with autism, social communication, emotional regulation and sensory processing needs.
Key Responsibilities*Deliver differentiated teaching tailored to individual needs
*Plan, assess and monitor student progress
*Work closely with a multidisciplinary team
*Manage behaviour positively and consistently
*Contribute to EHCP reviews and personalised learning plans
Requirements*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Experience in SEND / ASC settings
*Strong understanding of the national curriculum
*Knowledge of autism and SEMH needs
Desirable*SEND qualification
*Curriculum development experience
