Nursery Assistant – Maidstone
Part-Time or Full-Time | Between 7:30am – 6:00pm | Permanent
A fantastic nursery in Maidstone is seeking warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Nursery Assistants to join a friendly, supportive team. The nursery provides a nurturing, stimulating environment where children thrive, learn, and feel safe throughout the day.
They are open Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 6:00pm, and offer flexible working patterns to support a healthy work-life balance. Your hours will be scheduled in advance to ensure full cover across the week and will include a mix of early starts and later finishes.
What We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from candidates seeking a minimum of 2 days per week, right through to full-time hours.
To be considered, you should have:
*A relevant childcare qualification such as NVQ Level 2, CACHE, or equivalent
*Good understanding and experience with the EYFS framework
*Previous experience in a school or nursery environment (desirable but not essential)
*A warm, caring approach with great communication skills
Your Role
As a valued Nursery Assistant, you will work closely with the Nursery Manager, Pre-School Lead, and wider team to provide flexible, high-quality education and care. Your contribution will help support the needs of our children and their families throughout the year.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Supporting children’s learning and development through play and planned activities
*Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
*Building positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents
*Assisting with daily routines, safeguarding, and general nursery duties
