Job Description:
Are you passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential within learning and emotional development?
Tradewind are seeking a caring, proactive and enthusiastic Primary Learning Mentor to join a friendly Primary School in Greenwich.
As a Learning Mentor you will work closely with pupils, teachers and families to help children overcome barriers to learning. You will provide tailored support, build positive relationships and promote well-being across the school community.
Key Responsibilities
*Support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health throughout the school
*Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions
*Work alongside Teachers to develop strategies that support learning and inclusion
*Promote positive behaviour
*Liaise with parents and carers whenever required
Requirements
*Experience working with children in a Primary Setting
*Excellent communication skills
*Ability to build relationships and act as a positive role model
*Empathy and patience where required
*Experience with promoting child development
