Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk - Up to £45,000 plus benefits - North London (on-site)
My client, one of the largest privately owned construction companies in London, is currently looking to hire a new Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing high volumes of invoices, and supporting the wider finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys being part of a friendly, hardworking team.
Key responsibilities:
*Processing supplier invoices, credit notes, and payment runs
*Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
*Managing queries from suppliers and internal teams
*Maintaining accurate and up-to-date ledger records
*Assisting with month-end tasks and reporting
*Ensuring compliance with company procedures and industry standards
*Cash Book Postings
Key skills:
*Proven experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
*Knowledge of the construction industry is essential
*Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
*Confident communicator with the ability to build good supplier relationships
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
