English Teacher – South Tyneside

Are you a passionate and dedicated English teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in a supportive secondary school? We are seeking a English Teacher to join a well-established school in the South Tyneside area, the role is to begin after Easter 2026 and is on an ongoing basis.

The Role:

Teaching English to KS3 and KS4 students
Planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils
Assessing and tracking student progress
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Maths curriculum

The Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or relevant qualification
Experience teaching English at secondary level
Strong classroom management skills
Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities

Please note, this is a main pay scale role and the pay range of £162.31 - £223.62 is linked to your current teacher pay scale.
