A leading manufacturing organisation based in Cornwall is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join their team during an exciting period of sustained growth and investment.
The site is currently experiencing a significant expansion phase, supported by a strong pipeline of investment across operations, processes, and quality systems. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced quality professional to play a key role in supporting the business through this next stage of development.
The Role:
*Act as the technical lead for quality-related issues across the site
*Provide hands-on support in resolving product and process quality challenges
*Drive root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventative actions (CAPA)
*Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve process capability and product quality
*Support and enhance the site’s quality management systems
*Lead or contribute to continuous improvement initiatives relating to quality performance
About You:
*Proven experience in a Quality Engineering role within manufacturing
*Strong background in problem-solving methodologies (e.g. 8D, RCA, Six Sigma tools)
*A hands-on, shop-floor-focused approach to quality engineering
*Ability to act as a technical expert and confidently support cross-functional teams
*Experience with quality systems, audits, and compliance standards
*Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
