Job Title: Part- time Accounts Assistant
Location: Bamber Bridge
Salary: £14,560 - £15,600
Service Care are delighted to be working with a global engineering company in Bamber Bridge, Preston. This client is looking for a Part-Time Accounts Assistant due to their current Accounts Assistant retiring.
You will be working in a friendly, relaxed office of 12, where everyone pulls together to help out. If you enjoy working in an collaborative environment and have some finance experience, this could be your next role.
What you will be doing:*Responsible for the sales and purchase ledger.
*Process and pay invoices.
*Complete daily and weekly bank reconciliation.
*Processing of employees wages.
*Chasing of debt for payments.
*Assist with company VAT returns
*Other ad hoc duties when required
What you will have:*Experience with an office or accounts environment.
*Excel and computer literate.
*High attention to detail.
*Strong communication skills.
*Experience with Xero is desirable, but not essential.
In return you will receive*Base salary of £14,560 - £ hours a week)
*Pay for any additional hours performed
