A global business in North Leeds are looking to add an Assistant Accountant to their finance team. You’ll play a key role in month-end and help ensure the business has accurate, timely financial information to work from.


What you’ll be doing:
*Supporting the month-end close process and helping produce management accounts
*Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
*Posting journals and managing specific month-end accruals
*Processing financial transactions accurately and efficiently
*Reconciling intercompany trading accounts
*Analysing monthly financial data and highlighting key trends
*Assisting with the preparation and analysis of non-financial information to support business performance
*Getting involved in ad-hoc tasks and general finance support as needed


What do you need?
*Part Qualified (AAT/CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
*Experience in a finance or accounting role, or a relevant accounting qualification/degree
*A solid understanding of basic accounting principles
*Confident communicator who can work with colleagues at all levels
*Someone who keeps communication clear and timely, especially when managing deadlines or issues
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
*A team player who’s keen to learn and develop
