Job Description:
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Casting Inspector to join a busy and well-established manufacturer in Stourbridge. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail who is looking for stable, ongoing work with the potential to develop their skills within quality inspection.
The Role
You will play a key role in ensuring all products meet strict quality standards before reaching the customer. Working within a fast-paced environment, you will inspect iron and steel castings and support continuous improvement across the production process.
Hours
Monday to Friday
38 hours per week
Flexible to work between 7am-5pm
Key Responsibilities*Inspect castings in line with company and customer requirements
*Conduct visual inspections and quality checks
*Approve or reject raw and machined castings
*Identify defects and non-conforming products
*Use gauges, jigs, and measuring equipment
*Complete inspection records and documentation
*Raise and follow up non-conformance reports

*Ability to read and follow work instructions
*Good communication and teamwork skills
*Ability to work independently and use initiative
*Flexible approach to shifts and overtime
