Job Description:
We are currently seeking an individual to join the Production Operations Support Team at Hope Cement Works in Derbyshire. This is an opportunity for an individual to join a multi-disciplined team who play a key part in the operation of Hope Works.
We are looking for an individual who is flexible, self-motivated and possesses a positive attitude in their approach to work. Willingness to train both internally and externally is a key priority. The Group places the highest importance on sustained standards of excellence in all aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental management and you will be expected to contribute to our safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
• First line inspections of mechanical plant and equipment
• Adhere to and promote the highest standards of safety within the workplace
• High pressure jetting within the preheater tower and cooler while operational
• Work flexibly within the production shift team to assist with breakdown repairs, investigations and support the cement manufacturing process
• Operation of mobile plant primarily telescopic forklift

Essential:
• Good communication

• Flexibility regarding working hours and willingness to participate in out of hours call out cover
Advantageous:
• Working knowledge of cement manufacturing plant and process
• Mobile plant experience including telescopic forklift
• High Pressure Jetting
• First line maintenance experience and knowledge
• Experience of first line inspections of mechanical plant
• Knowledge and understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental issues
• Experience of working in a team
• Experience of working shifts
• Welding qualification
• Slinging and Rigging qualification
