Job Description:
Legal Secretary
Beaconsfield and Marlow office – Office based
Competitive Salary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Secretary to join my clients team working across 2 branches in Beaconsfield and Marlow. You will providing secretarial and administrative support within both branches. You will:
*Respond to client enquiries promptly and courteously
*Coordinate diaries and schedule appointments
*Keep clients informed on the progress of their matters
*Process client payments and communicate details to the Accounts team in a timely manner
*Stay up to date with client care and anti-money laundering obligations
*Open and maintain client files, ensuring all compliance documents are completed
*Provide audio typing support for multiple offices as required
*Prepare correspondence and draft legal documents
*Perform copy typing, scanning, and photocopying tasks efficiently
*Monitor office supplies and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
*Receive and distribute incoming mail appropriately
*Assist with marketing activities and initiatives
*Keep filing systems and office calendars organised
*Attend internal meetings and contribute to team projects
*Adhere to Health & Safety requirements in the office
*Assist with compliance-related tasks, including file audits and maintaining trackers
*Support equality, diversity, and inclusion initiatives
*Maintain the highest level of confidentiality at all times
The ideal candidate will:
*Have experience in a Legal Secretary or similar role
*Have strong organisational and time management skills
*Have excellent audio typing and document production skills
*Have professional communication and client-focused approach
*Have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
*Be proactive and supportive team player
*Have strong IT skills including case management systems
*Have a high level of discretion and confidentiality
*Have the understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements
Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm.
