Job Description:
HIAB Driver (HGV Class 1 / Class 2 Driver) | Based in Nuneaton, Warwickshire (covering Midlands region) | Salary: £19.50 + Overtime paid at £29.25ph + Bonus + 33 Days Holiday + Excellent Benefits | Permanent | Monday to Friday. New starter Bonus paid (up to £1k)
We have an exciting opportunity for a HIAB Driver / HGV Class 1 or Class 2 Driver with lorry loader experience to join a market-leading provider of modular buildings and portable accommodation solutions. HIAB Driver role:
*Responsible for the safe and efficient delivery, loading and unloading of modular buildings and accommodation units to customer sites.
*Safely operate HGV Class 1 or Class 2 vehicles with HIAB
*Deliver and collect modular buildings, cabins, and containers
*Operate lorry loader crane (HIAB) for loading/unloading
*Ensure full compliance with road safety and transport regulations
*Complete delivery and collection paperwork accurately
*Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects
*Provide excellent customer service on-site
*Represent the business in a professional manner at all times
Candidate requirements:
*Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) licence
*HIAB / Lorry Loader certification (ALLMI or CSCS) is essential
*Proven experience operating HIAB equipment
*Strong understanding of EU driver hours, Working Time Directive, and Tachograph regulations
*Good customer service and communication skills
*Flexible approach to work and willingness to travel across the Midlands
