Job Title: MIG Welder
Location: Commutable from Markfield, Coalville, Loughborough
Salary: Up to £15.50 per hour
Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4pm to 2am

The MIG Welder Role:
As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality fabricated components while ensuring accuracy and consistency in your work.
Key Responsibilities:
*MIG welding mild steel components
*Fabricating and assembling parts to specification
*Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
*Measuring and preparing materials for production
*Setting up welding equipment based on job requirements
*Fettling and grinding sheet metal
*Conducting quality checks on your own work
*Identifying and reporting any issues or defects
*Handling tools and materials safely and efficiently


About You:
*1+ years’ experience as a Welder
*Read blueprints and drawings and taking measurements to plan layout and procedures
*Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
*Set up components for welding according to specifications knowledge of using measuring equipment to quality check work.
*Fettling and grinding sheet metal work.
*Quality check finished products.
*Record and report any issues.
*Manual handling of different tools to complete the job to the highest standards set.
