Our setting is launching in a phased approach, beginning with after-school and holiday club provision, with a full nursery offering to follow upon Ofsted registration completion.
The RoleWe are seeking a strong, reliable, and organised Manager to lead the day-to-day running of our setting.
During the initial phase, the role will focus on managing the after-school and holiday club provision, with responsibility transitioning into full nursery management as the setting expands.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow with a setting from the ground up and play a key role in shaping its structure, team, and culture.
Key Responsibilities*Lead the daily operations of the after-school and holiday club
*Manage staff, rotas, and ratios in line with requirements
*Coordinate school pick-ups and safe transportation procedures
*Ensure a safe, engaging, and structured environment for children
*Maintain safeguarding, health & safety, and compliance standards
*Support with preparation for Ofsted inspection and ongoing compliance
*Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and the community
*Support transition into full nursery operations
Requirements*Minimum Level 3 in Childcare (Early Years or equivalent)
*Previous experience in a supervisory or management role
*Strong understanding of safeguarding and childcare regulations
*Confident managing a team and leading a setting
*Organised, proactive, and able to work in a start-up environment
*Full UK driving licence (preferred for school pick-ups)
