Salary: Main Scale Pay Outer London (MSP) 3-6 (potential for UPS)
Start Date: April 2026 - July 2026
Working Pattern: Thursdays and Fridays

Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with a welcoming and well-regarded tow form entry primary school in Chigwell, Redbridge, which is seeking an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join their team on a job share basis from April 2026 until July 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Key Stage 2 practitioner who is looking for a part-time role within a supportive and collaborative school environment. The successful candidate will work two days per week (Thursdays and Fridays), sharing responsibility for a bright and engaging Year 5 class. The Year 5 teacher role will include some planning responsibilities, so the school is keen to appoint a teacher who is organised, creative and confident in delivering high-quality lessons that inspire pupils to achieve their best.
The school has a strong reputation within the local community and prides itself on its inclusive ethos, high expectations and nurturing environment. Staff work closely together and are supported by an experienced leadership team who are committed to professional development and staff wellbeing.


The ideal candidate will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Have recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally in Upper KS2
*Be confident planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
*Demonstrate strong classroom management and a positive approach to behaviour
*Be committed to creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment for all pupils
*Work effectively as part of a job share partnership and wider teaching team
