Temporary Buyer (Cardiff) – £17–£18 per hour
We’re looking for an experienced Buyer to join our Procurement team on a temporary basis. You’ll support end-to-end purchasing activity, ensuring materials and services are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and in line with operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
*Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms, and issue RFQs
*Raise and expedite purchase orders
*Manage supplier relationships and resolve supply issues
*Monitor spend, support cost-saving initiatives, and maintain accurate records
*Forecast demand to maintain stock levels
About You
*Strong negotiation, communication and supplier-management skills
*Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
*Experience in industrial, manufacturing or similar environments
*Analytical mindset and good financial awareness
