Job Description:
Art & Design Technology Technician - Full-Time (5 Days per Week)
Location: Bexley | Secondary Schools
Are you a skilled and passionate Art & Design Technology Technician looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school environment in Bexley on a full-time basis.

The Role:
As an Art & DT Technician, you will play a key role in supporting both staff and students across the Art and Design Technology departments. You will be responsible for preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment for practical lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
*Prepare, set up, and clear away materials and equipment for Art and DT lessons
*Maintain and organise workshops, studios, and storage areas
*Ensure all tools and machinery are used safely and in line with health and safety regulations
*Support teachers during practical sessions when required
*Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies
*Carry out basic maintenance and repairs of equipment
Requirements:
*Previous experience working as an Art and/or DT Technician in a school setting
*Strong subject knowledge across Art and Design Technology
*A relevant degree is preferred
*Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
*A proactive, reliable, and flexible approach
*Strong understanding of health and safety procedures within a workshop/studio environment
