Job Description:
Pastoral Support - Secondary Schools (Full-Time, 5 Days per Week) - Lambeth
Are you passionate about supporting young people and making a meaningful difference in their school experience? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pastoral Support professional to join a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Lambeth on a full-time basis.

The RoleAs a Pastoral Support member, you will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and student engagement across the school. You will work closely with teaching staff, senior leadership, and external agencies to ensure every student is supported to reach their full potential.
Key responsibilities include:
*Providing one-to-one and group pastoral support to students
*Managing behaviour and supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs
*Building strong, positive relationships with students to encourage engagement and progress
*Supporting attendance, safeguarding, and wellbeing initiatives
*Liaising with parents, carers, and external professionals where necessary
Requirements*Previous experience working in a pastoral, mentoring, or support role within a secondary school setting
*Strong understanding of behaviour management and student wellbeing
*A degree is preferred
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*A proactive, resilient, and compassionate approach
