Teaching Assistant - Year 1
*Hourly Rate: £14.63

*Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM - 3:15 PM
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team, working within Year 1, providing full class support. This role is perfect for someone passionate about fostering a nurturing learning environment and assisting young children in their critical early stages of education.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Assist in the preparation and delivery of engaging and educational activities for Year 1 students.
*Support the class teacher in managing the classroom and maintaining a vibrant and organised learning environment.
*Help with the supervision of students during class, breaks, and various activities.
*Monitor and support the progress of students, providing feedback and assistance to ensure they achieve their developmental milestones.
*Engage with students to encourage positive interactions and promote a love for learning.
*Assist in the implementation of lesson plans and educational activities that cater to the needs of all students.
*Provide support to students with varying abilities, ensuring that each child receives attention tailored to their educational needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role, preferably with experience in early years education.
*Strong understanding of the educational and developmental needs of Year 1 students.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, staff, and parents.
*Patience, empathy, and a dedicated approach to educational support.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team to create a supportive and effective learning environment.
