Commercial Vehicle Technician (Level 3)Transport Services Barnet
£36,567 - £39,951 (Grade H)
temporary role Full-time | Onsite - Immediate start
We are looking for an experienced Commercial Vehicle Technician to join our busy workshop team, maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of commercial and specialist vehicles.
Key Duties*Service, inspect, diagnose, and repair commercial vehicles and equipment
*Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and quality standards
*Work independently and as part of a team
*Participate in standby rota (1 in 9, including weekends & bank holidays)
Essential Requirements*NVQ/IMI Level 3 in Heavy Motor Vehicles (or equivalent)
*Qualified Commercial Vehicle Inspector (VOSA)
*Workshop/transport environment experience
*Good IT, communication, and organisational skills
*Ability to work split shifts (06:30-21:30)
Desirable*EV vehicle experience
*MOT Tester (Class 4-7)
*HGV (Category C) licence
*Experience with specialist fleet (refuse trucks, sweepers, hydraulics)
