Accomplish Today are recruiting a commercially driven Business Development Manager to join an established FCSA accredited umbrella payroll provider with over 20 years experience supporting recruitment agencies and contractor payroll services across the UK. This is a 100% new business sales role, focused on winning new recruitment agency clients requiring PAYE umbrella payroll and contractor payroll solutions.
The role is ideal for a Business Development Manager, Sales Manager or Recruitment Agency Sales professional with experience in umbrella payroll, contractor services, or payroll solutions. Joining the business offers the chance to drive new client growth while representing a trusted and established umbrella provider.
The Role – Business Development Manager
As Business Development Manager, you will focus entirely on new business development, generating partnerships with recruitment agencies requiring umbrella payroll and contractor payroll services. You will engage with recruitment consultants, agency owners and directors, presenting compliant PAYE umbrella payroll solutions to help agencies manage their contractor workforce.
This is a pure sales role, ideal for someone who thrives on opening doors, building relationships and closing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
*Identify and target recruitment agencies requiring umbrella payroll services
*Generate new business through outbound sales, networking and referrals
*Build and manage a strong pipeline of new recruitment agency clients
Sales & Client Engagement
*Develop relationships with recruitment consultants, agency owners and directors
*Present compliant PAYE umbrella payroll solutions
*Manage the full sales cycle from first contact to signed partnership
Contractor Payroll Expertise
*Promote compliant umbrella payroll and contractor payroll solutions
*Maintain awareness of IR35 legislation and contractor payroll compliance
*Position the business as a trusted partner for recruitment agency payroll services
Candidate Requirements
The ideal Business Development Manager will be outgoing, confident and target-driven, with strong relationship-building skills.
You will ideally have:
*Experience in Business Development, B2B Sales or Recruitment Agency Sales
*Background in Umbrella Payroll, Contractor Payroll, Payroll Solutions or Contractor Services
*Knowledge of IR35 and contractor payroll compliance (desirable)
*Strong communication and presentation skills
*A proactive and results-driven approach to sales
Salary & Benefits
*OTE £60,000 with uncapped commission
