Sister/Charge Nurse Outpatients
Location:London;The WellingtonHospital,Platinum Medical Centre
Hours:This is a full-time role working 37.5hrs per week (Mon-Fri 8-4 or 9-5 shifts)
Fixed Term Contract until 30/06/2027

As Sister for our OutpatientDepartment,you will provide effective leadership,expertise,adviceand support to the team, carrying continuous responsibility for the management of the unit, making effective use ofresourcesand ensuring the highest standards of care to patients and families.

Whatyou’lldo:
*Leading the Clinical Management of Outpatient Services and all services linestherein, to include support and mentorship of junior staff, acting as a clinical expert and role model
*Leading the Operational Management of Outpatient Services to includeorganisationof clinics, staff deployment, recruitment and the promotion of team and multidisciplinary working
*Effectively managing resources in all forms: staffing establishments,manpowerplanningand deployment of department management budgets
*Keeping up with current developments and trends in clinical practice to includeidentifyingown and team learning and education needs,maintainingthe competencies requirements, portraying a positiveimageand supporting the ward/department team
*Ensuring the highest quality of practice and care through effective monitoring of own and others clinical competence

*NMC Registered Nurse
*Strong extensive experience in Outpatient setting
*Management skills and Leadership or management training
*Mentorship / Preceptorship of junior staff
*Demonstrable experience of managing budgets
