Job Description:
This role is the Foundation’s founding communications hire, responsible for building its brand, digital presence, and core communications platforms from the ground up. It blends strategic leadership with hands-on delivery across content, events, digital, and stakeholder engagement to shape how the world understands the Foundation’s mission.

They are a privately funded foundation that supports major research projects focused on preventing disease before it happens. They partner with top-tier global institutions to fund early-stage scientific work in areas like metabolism, cardiovascular health, and diagnostics.
Description
*Lead the development and launch of the Foundation’s website
*Build and maintain a coherent brand identity
*Create and oversee high-quality content and communications collateral
*Translate scientific concepts into clear, accessible narratives
*Manage digital channels, newsletters, and multimedia output
*Deliver events, symposia, and conference presence
*Coordinate communications across funded research projects
*Develop the communications strategy and manage external agencies and budgets
Profile
*A confident self-starter who thrives in a building-from-scratch environment
*Strong strategic thinker with the ability to execute hands-on work
*Exceptional writer with clear editorial judgement
*Experienced in managing websites, digital channels, and creative agencies
*Skilled at translating complex scientific ideas for broad audiences
*Strong project manager who delivers high-quality work under pressure
*Comfortable leading events and engaging senior stakeholders
*Collaborative, adaptable, and able to represent the Foundation professionally
