Job Title: Student Learning Advisor
Location: West London
Working Pattern: Part-Time
Pay Rate: £20-£22 per hour
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and supportive Student Learning Advisor to join a reputable college in West London on a full-time basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with learners, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities*Provide one-to-one and group academic support to students across a range of courses
*Assist learners with study skills, time management, and assignment planning
*Support students with additional learning needs, including those requiring extra academic guidance
*Work collaboratively with teaching staff to identify and support at-risk learners
*Develop and deliver workshops on study skills, revision techniques, and academic writing
*Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of support provided
*Promote inclusive learning practices and help create a supportive learning environment
*Support students in building confidence, resilience, and independent learning skills
Requirements*Experience supporting learners in an educational or training environment
*Strong understanding of study skills and learning support strategies
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds and with varying needs
*Good organisational and record-keeping skills
*A relevant qualification in education, learning support, or a related field (desirable)
*Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
