We are pleased to be partnering with a respected organisation to recruit a Temporary Workforce Operations Lead. This is a key role within the Temporary Workforce Management Team, ensuring temporary staffing needs are met efficiently, cost-effectively, and in line with governance standards.
The RoleYou will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Temporary Staffing Service (Medical and General Bank), ensuring effective staffing deployment across the organisation. Working closely with stakeholders, you’ll drive performance, maintain compliance, and support safe staffing levels.
Key Responsibilities*Lead daily operations of the temporary staffing booking service
*Manage and support the Temporary Staffing team
*Provide guidance on bank and agency staffing usage
*Monitor KPIs, staffing data, and agency spend
*Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal standards
*Build strong relationships with internal teams and external agencies
*Support workforce planning, including peak demand periods
*Oversee reporting, system accuracy, and workforce data
About You*Substantial experience delivering efficient administrative services
*Strong knowledge of agency rules, Agency Worker Regulations, and Working Time Directive
*Proven experience in line management within a busy environment and leading teams through change
*Skilled in stakeholder management, maintaining professionalism across all levels
*Confident working with data, reporting, and workforce systems
*Understanding of service quality standards and continuous improvement
*Experience of payroll processes with the ability to advise on queries
*Ability to develop and implement action plans to improve services
*Strong organisational and leadership skills with experience managing structured teams
*Awareness of diverse workforce and service user needs
*Previous experience in staff deployment within a similar setting (public or private sector)
