Job Description:
Hire Controller | Sevenoaks, Kent | Temp to Perm (£15 - £19 per hour)
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Hire Controller to join our team. This role is responsible for coordinating the end-to-end hire process, ensuring equipment and resources are allocated efficiently while delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
*Manage incoming hire requests, providing timely and accurate quotations
*Coordinate the scheduling, delivery, and collection of hired equipment
*Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth operations
*Monitor equipment availability and utilisation to maximise efficiency
*Maintain accurate records of hire contracts, invoices, and asset tracking
*Resolve any issues or delays quickly and professionally
*Ensure compliance with company procedures and health & safety standards
*Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers
Skills
*Previous experience in a hire desk, rental, logistics, or coordination role
*Strong organisational and time management skills
*Excellent communication and customer service abilities
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
*Good IT skills, including experience with booking or scheduling systems
*A proactive and problem-solving mindset
