Accountancy Practice Specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have just been instructed on a fantastic Accounts Associate or Senior Associate opportunity on behalf of a progressive and forward thinking firm in Central Edinburgh.


Will involve working with an interesting and varied portfolio of clients, including SMEs and OMBs from an array of sectors providing accounts and client advisory services.


Ideal for an individual working in practice who is AAT qualified, part way through their ACA/ ACCA studies or recently qualified.


Our client offers a very supportive environment/ culture with plenty of mentorship from the management and leadership team. They can also assist with any ACA/ ACCA study clawback fees.

The Role:


Preparation of statutory accounts under FRS102
Drafting corporate tax computations
Review of VAT returns & bookkeeping
Management accounts preparation
Training clients on accountancy software
Dealing with client queries
Attending client meetings
Assisting & mentoring junior staff


You:


MAAT and/ or ACA/ ACCA PQ/ Qualified
Practice experience is essential
Knowledge of accounting software such as Sage or Xero (ideally)
Strong written and verbal skills
UK Resident
